A Typology of Sustainable Entrepreneurship Identities

We just had a paper published in Strategic Change (Q1) in which we outline the experiences of sustainable entrepreneurs. A main contribution is that we uncover and describe a typology of four identity types. Sustainable entrepreneurs differ in the degree to which they identify with both their product/service offering, and in how they balance profit and impact. We thus differentiate between four types: the solution entrepreneur, the classical entrepreneur, the serial entrepreneur, and the mission entrepreneur.
